05+ Black Fuel Filler Door

I'm looking for an original equipment (with black paint) fuel filler door. Maybe someone swapped out their original for a billit one? My stock door got dented and I want to replace it with another original stock door in perfect condition.

When I ordered my 08 Gt it came with the Metallic fuel door on it and the black fuel door with the hinge on it in the plastic bag in the trunk. It has never been out of the bag. I do not know what they cost. I will check and see after getting back from the veterans Hosptial this evening sometime.

Wow, the dealer must have swapped your fuel door; I don't think there is any factory option for it. A new take-off part like that sounds nice, I'm very particular about my car. The new ones from a dealer (even the on-line discount dealers) are pricey and then would have to be painted.

I actually ordered a used grey one on Ebay last night for $10and I would have to paint it black. I prefer to have one with original factory black paint. Let me know what you would ask for yours. Thanks.

REPLY: I should say that when i was building my car on the internet with all the optionsI wanted, I also did a local inventory search for any that were close. There is a dealer in my area that has all Saleen's,Roush's,heritage 302's,ETc> They also had two cars that were in the showroom. One with a Mach 3 body kit and custom paint for an extra 12K and mine fully loaded with the optional $135 dollar metallic fuel door.You can get the metallic fuel door from the ford cataloge.I did not get back until about 7:45pm. I was to tired and went to bed. This door & hinge does have the factory Black paint on it in the bag. It was replaced by the dealer. I will check and decide later today sometime. It's 4:30am and I'm going back to bed. Byecycle
