So I'm looking at this GT and I'm just wondering what you guys think is a reasonable price to pay. It's a Silver 2000 Mustang GT with 69k on the clock. The car is visually in good condition, the engine compartment is clean enough to eat off of, and as far as mods go, it's got a Borla catback, K&N FIPK, Steeda Tri-ax, H&R Drop, Cobra Rims, and Toyo Proxies. I just want to see what you guys think is a reasonable price for this. I should be getting an insurance check in the mail soon and don't want to miss out on this car if I can get it down to the right price, but I don't want to completely lowball the guy and expect to get it. Thanks in advance.

i paid 9700 for a 2003 gt with 75k miles on it. its completely stock though and had some minor problems like burnt out foglight, missing the horn for some reason... no jack or tire iron, dent in the roof which broke the back window(replaced) so the back window need tinting.

Wow, I guess area has a bigger difference than I though. Asking price on this one right now is $9k, I'm hoping to get it down to $8k. There's another one available in the area with 95k and no mods with an asking price of $6.5k

Sounds like a really good deal. I just paid 7k for a 99gt with 200,000 kms on it. and a bit of body damage.

I wouldn't pay more then $7,500 for a modded 00. In my opinion mods lower the value of the car cause you know it was ran hard. If it was stock (I would be able to tell if it was modded then returned to stock) I would pay $8,500.

True, but not always. I have a few mods and I very rarely run my car hard. But I see your point...I don't think I would by a car with mods myself. Mine was totally stock when I got it. If it were stock and exc condition I wouldn't have a problem paying 8500-9000 for it.

I paid $8,000 for mine with 79k miles. Which was below kbb. Although it had a recently rebuilt transmission, new clutch, new brake pads, new sparkplugs, new pulleysand a bunch of other maintenance things performed.

i paid 10,300 for mine from a dealership.. 2001 GT 5spd 49,000 miles on the clock.. i thought i got a great deal considering everything i wanted to do to it when i bought it was already done (supsension, exhaust, etc)

its all about what your willing to pay for and how bad you want that exact car... mustangs are a dime a dozen
