Default Check Engine Light?!

hey I havent posted on here for quite sometime, but I have a problem with the stang. I have a 2005 v6 convertible, really sharp, i keep real good care of her, but tonight something happened. As i was driving my friend home the car went crazy. The check engine light came on and it became soo sluggish and almost completey died when i pulled in front of her house. I drove her home and it barely would move...i finally reached my driveway and turned off the car, waited a minute and turned it back on and she started up fine with no light or anything. What could this be attributed to? Some factors I think my have contributed are either a) i watched a movie on my dvd player in the car...so possibly a low battery?? and b) i changed my oil a little over a week ago, but there are no leaks or anything..please help ASAP i have to goto work tomorrow!!!

Default RE: Check Engine Light?!

man i read a thread yesterday and they were talking about water getting in the fuse panel on the passenger side by the feet. check the floor boards on the pass side for moisture. if theyre wet that is probably the problem. the cabin air filter housing is what causes it. i have three late model fords and all have been to the dealership and yhe local garage for the same problem. thats all i can think of right now. if that is it you just have to wait for it to dry out.

I remember reading on another forum about a similar situation and it turned out to be a wiring issue on the ground in the underhood fuse box
