From Craigslist. I love the "rare" part. He wants $14,200!
For Sale: a rare, 1966 Ford Mustang in-line 6 Cylinder with Automatic trans. Runs and Drives great, and gets good fuel mileage! Only 60,000 miles!!
Interior is in awesome condition other than seat seams starting to pull apart (easily repaired). Car is in near original condition. Was repainted at one point, and not done very well. Paint is starting to peel in a couple spots, and is rusting through on the driver's side fender.

"Only 60,000 miles!!"
My thought was "only" 60k miles if you factor in the odo having rolled over once or even twice.
My hunch is more like 160k.

Don't bother. Its sold. I just bought it. In Fact, I offered an additional $2,000 over asking price because I know i got a steal of a deal. Don't be too jealous.

That's great news, I wasn't going to ask that much for my soon to be fully restored '66 6 cylinder. If that is the case, my asking price is now 20K:D. Glad I found out my car is rare before I sold her.

Found this on Craigslist!
1969 Mustang coupe, 302, needs light restoration. $6500 o.b.o

contact Trisha atXXX-XXX-XXXX leave a message if I'm not home. or send me a email through here
I guess she found some pictures of it,probably would have better luck without them![sm=Flahssssss.gif] [sm=bangbang.gif]
6500 for that pile of rust rofl thanks i needed a hard laugh i hope thats a typo and its 650 bucks.I really love the ones that see the nada guide and think the lowest price they give is how much they can get for a car thats sat in a field for 20 years.

Yeah or it's the X's car that she is selling now.
But when they were together he said it was worth that much just so he could dump hard earned welfare checks [sm=alcoholic.gif]into it and she would not complain ,"But honey, These cars blue book for $11,000 in Faircondition".

Fair meaning the car doesn't whisle when the wind blows from all the rust holes.

from what the car looks like it's only 600pounds weight left, so it should be quite quick on the uptake

Wow, I've seen some bad looking cars but that 69 coupe is terrible. As for that "rare I6...I'm glad I paid 14,500 for my 69 Fastback GT...with alot of modifications and no rust.

Need help deciding...is this '67really worth $300 more than the '66?
http://dallas.craigslist.org/car/679501795.html
[:o]
Oh wait...went to the website in the listing and it lead me to ebay and the buy it now is only $13,995.00 for '67! That does it, I know it's not as rare as the '66, but $300 is $300.
I can't believe that guy has labeled it a GT-500 and he doesn't mention that it's really not.
AV8ForFun
05-15-2008, 02:29 PM
Yeah, that's why I just called it a '67 and not a GT-500. Even if it is a poser, it is still a lot nicer than what was described on Craigslist for the '66.
