Wut?
How is everybody gettin beat by these damn things...
They've only got like 215 horses with ram air...
Was it the supercharged version?
I raced one (grand am gt NON-supercharged) before I did anything other than strippin my trunk and puttin in my new clutch...
I RAPED him...
He was auto and slow as balls...
It was on the street which is bad...
I know...
I know...

But if it makes anyone feel better it was on a back road with no traffic...
He beat me off the line most of the time cause I couldn't get any damn traction...
But even when that happened i still passed him no later than 3rd gear...
And yes...
I drive a '99 v6 manual...

I'm lookin at a 65mm and was gonna put on a 70mm but I couldn't find one for a 3.8...
Bought one from a friend of a friend but it was for a 5.0...
I was kinda pissed but it was my own fault for not double checkin...
Did u notice any power increase?
And was it just a bolt on or did u install it at the same time as some other crap?

Keeping your offtopicness (<lol): It won't help much at all, even with a fully bult motor and a blower.

I own a GT bro I traded my V6 in and got this thing there. In my GT with T/B and Plenum there was def difference in flow and smoothness of the engine itself. As far as for the V6 its kinda useless. If I was you Id do some 3.73 gears with a t-lok

And a catted x-pipe prolly magnaflow...
THEN i'm gonna go and do gears and suspension and ****...
Prolly gonna buy an 8.8 rear end before I put gears on it though...

i love how everybody got off topic.

back to the subject take all the **** you can out of your car back seat passenger seat textbooks all that weight get rid of it for now the seat are easy to take off and there not to much of a hassle
you only lost by about half a car length so if you lose all that weight you should be good to go or just go by a intake if you have time and get an extra 10 to 15 horses that much youll take him

thanks, I´m seriously thinking in doing that, I will take all I can out of the car, amps, radio, cd, speakers, passenger seat, spare tire, tools, I will use only a quarter of the thank of fuel, I want to cut the pipe right after the muffler and have a turn down welded there, I will do some exercise to lose some weight lol, he had a friend seating in the passenger seat while racing and probably will do it again, already did a tune up to my car because never did that before hope that hlep, we will upload some vids after the race but I´m a little bit scared to lose because friends, family and some girls will be there watching us

Will investing in just one (open dif) drag radial/slick tire worth it?

Why I would need two if just one wheel is driven ? isn´t that how a open differential works?
