im going to be istalling the MGW short throw and i am wondering how long i should let the RTV dry

Just put the bead on the tranny case, and bolt the new shifter down. The RTV will be dry and ready by the time you've finished putting everything back together. It only takes a few minutes.

+1. I had the same concern installing my MGW in my GT, but everything seemed perfectly situated once I had everything reassembled within a couple minutes. I was out bangin' gears with the new shifter right afterward just fine, so apparently the RTV hardens pretty quickly.

good deal i was hoping that it didnt take like an hour or so to harden that would suck
