So I’m thinking of going with a p-51 theme for the interior and some of the engine bay of my fox. Here’s what Im thinking of doing:

Red shift knob –the mustangs had a red properly trim ball by the throttle.-

Green foot pedals-reminiscent of the rudder pedals in the p-51-

Custom Gauges-I want a company to make me some CUALITY gauges of the same Style that the p-51 had i dont mind paying a good bit for theese-

Black valve covers with red FORD letters- the mustang had black valve covers with ROLLS-ROYCE painted on them

Green headers- the mustang known as “old crow” had green headers (same color as the pedals.)

Maybe:
Green shift stick-Im not sure about this one cuz of the steeda tri-ax, will having a longer shifter stick negate the effect of the short throw? I don’t think so cuz the actual shifter won’t be modified)

“NO HAND HOLD” painted on the dash-also a maybe. If done badly this will end up looking tacky.

The car is black. I want to keep things subtle. Like for example: You get into the car and go “hey! Look at that!”   ANY input is helpful here. Il be updating you of my progress regardless of what happens.   For now heres a pic of what I have to start with.

I doubt most people will ever catch the TRUE meaning behind it.... And they will just call it rice

He's right, unless you paint the exterior in true P-51 color no body will know what it is.
If I had a GT hard top I would paint exterior in two tone color silver on top and red on the bottom perhaps yellow checker stripes in rear just like this.
