I had my water leak cured thanks to the excellent posts on this Forum. I heard there is a TSB for this on a pay-for-info site but its not here yet. I was speaking to a guy on the Shelby section about his water leak and would tell him about the TSB if it exists. Thanks.

Just so you know, i took this to my dealership and they "supposidly" performed this procedure. The first few times it rained it seemed like the problem was fixed, but a couple days ago the rain made my carpet into moss.

so now Juntech its time to go to the dealership and tell them they are going to the best auto shop in town and do it correctly this time, that is right after you demand and get a meeting with the zone service manager from Ford and discuss lemon laws and buy backs and such. Most dealerships cannot do this level of body work properly so that is what may have happened to you. This TSB looks very extensive especially the part about pressurizing the interior to force the leak to happen.

Couple of ways
1 Ask dealer service manager to arrange a meeting with the zone manager and the zone service manager to resolve the issue
2 Call local regional zone office and speak to the zone manager yourself
3 Call Ford in Detroit and speak to their hotline for customer complaints

Wow, first I heard of this,it stinks.

I never have mine in the rain and wash it with Optimum No Rinse. Guess I should do the garden hose test tho.

Dumb question maybe...does ithappen on verts too?
