i just recieved my upr o/r x-pipe in the mail today and while unpacking it i seen a piece that i didnt know wut to do with, The piece can be found here. http://www.uprproducts.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=301 its the little piece thats in the middle of the two top pipes that connect to the manifolds. can anyone tell me what this is for and where i install it at.

I'm don't remember if my UPR X pipe came with that but I know I didn't use it.  The only thing I can think of is if you still have stock exhaust manifolds you may have to use it as more of a flanget on the drivers side to make sure it seals.  If I'm wrong someone can shoot me later.

i didn't need anything like that with my h pipe and i cant imagine the x would be different

yea thats the drivers side flange, better use it or you will FOR SURE have a leak

X2, I got my old UPR x pipe used and I didn't have that and it leaked like a bitch out the driver side header.

yes, you need it for the drivers side with UPR mid-pipes or you can change the studs to the ones without the shoulder (PITA)
