Default Which oil to use.

Hi i have a 2001 Mustang with 120k miles on it. i was going to change my oil myself for the first time since ive purchased the vehicle. i was going to purchase full synthetic but i was unsure on what grade to buy? 10W-30 as recomended or because of the high milage go with a thicker grade such as 10W-40. any suggestions?!

You can use any oil you want but I would go with motorcraft 5w30 with over 100k. Once you hit 150k you could switch to a 10w30 oil.
