(Stage 2) E55 with 525RWHP takes out a C6 ZO6 stock twice on 2 races where the C6 ZO6 asked for the break...E55(4087lbs) vs C6 ZO6(3150lbs)...

(Editors note - I have no idea what "asked for the break" means)

Sure there is about 80 rwhp difference, but there is almost a 1,000 pound weight difference. I'm calling shenanigans.

I saw the video of a pullied cobra with an exhaust getting its ass handed to it by a stock E55, the one they are talking about gets 25 more hp to the wheels than a stock one gets to the crank.

what up with them cutting the video right before the times are posted on the board...? i'm guessing its because the amg beat the driver, not the car

It just doesn't add up. It's not like the Z06 spun it halfway down the track. If anything, he launched it like a pussy.

I commented that the dude must be flat broke, because he can't drive for sh!t.

Because its in reality on the track, not some bench race or best case scenario. It happens all the time when people actually line up at the track and see who wins.

yea, no way should that zo6 have lost, the weight difference is too great for the hp so close. He didn't know how to drive worth a damn. And more then likely the scoreboards weren't on yet. I know here in my town they don't turn them on until dark..

from the Video i can see the AMG guy beat the Vette Guy that simple. That does not mean the AMG is faster than a Z06.

Redlight was the first thing I thought after they posted the E55 got the "win light" with no times. I'd like to see a run that shows the times for the E55, who knows, maybe he does run low 11s, high 10s

Ed - sure - the vette did not leave that much sooner then the E55 to make the MARGIN OF VICTORY as large as it was at the top end to account for the early leave. The vette ran the track faster than the E55 to be as far in front as it was at the finish

did you forget about the tq that E55 makes??? 516ft/lb STOCK. he could be upwards of 600rwtq with the Stage 2.

Their stock torque is 516 at 2650RPM.. seems a little weird to peak so soon? or is it just really flat? Unless I see times posted I think it is BS..they are close but z06 wins in looks, benz in comfort + seating. z06 wins in price for performance and z06 wins stock vs stock.. and with a few upgrades z06 would be pwning it again.. (possibly needing driver mod)...

Id rather have the z06.

This is what i think not sure if im correct. Im pretty sure the e55 AMG is an auto correct?

525 RWHP +20% drivetrain loss through auto = 630 bhp
516 lb tq stock + not sure how much torque he got from stage2, but im sure over 600+hp range, so lets say:

630bhp
600bhp(guess)
(4087lbs)
vs
Stock c6 zo6
(3150lbs)
505hp <-- inform me if zo6 numbers are underratted
470tq

possibly e55 can take it, especially since its auto with no driver error, zo6 needed driver mod. This is what i came up with not that sure so correct me.

I have an idea who the owner of the Benz is, but I am not 100% certain. What you guys all need to realize is that this area is full of street racers that don't want their times to get out and most people who street race around here are never 100% honest about mods. There are some pretty crazy cars around here, there is a new Yukon that has a LS7 on spray swapped in, a Trail Blazer SS that has a huge converter, bolt ons and spray runs in the 11's, yet these things look and sound stock from the outside.

i like your place JD, here everyone knows everyones times, and every car truck cruck or whatever lopes and hauls ass.

stock c6 Z > pullied cobra > stock E55 AMG

525rwhp AMG beating a stock Z... hmm... i know they have crazy power curve but I would still expect Z take one. I would say with equal drivers, Z vs. 525rwhp AMG is very close race (because of their crazy powercurve, gearing). in this case, driver of Z kinda sucked so AMG didnt have trouble beating it.

here is the time of that AMG. he trapped 123mph. Z driver needs to sell thatt car and buymy DD kia sephia!

The C6 Z is an awsome car!! However, There is a guy who runs at Atco that has an E55. his only mods are BFG DRs. He consistantly runs 12.1-11.8 @118!! The rest of his car is stock. he also has a low 10 second GN that he drives to the track. He and another guy who has a stock C5 Zo6 run neck n neck. I say all that to say a stage 2 set up for those cars would probably be a very good race for a C6 Z. The driver being the bigger mod. Autos aregreatin the 1/4!!

in the video is does say "stage 2" E55, and kleeman stage 2 E55's with supporting mods pull low-mid 11's and trap 122-124PH with the stock lysholm
