Default Trade in for a terminator or buy a sportbike ??

OK guys, i need some opinions. I have an 04 Mustang thats paid off. I really want to buy a sportbike, but the problem is I live in Phoenix where we get over a hundred days or 100+ degrees. Its already in the 90's now. So if I do buy one now, i probably would be riding it too much in the summer.

As for the Terminator, it speaks for itself. Always wanted one. Anyone ride bikes in 100+ degree heat?

Yea its gonna be pretty warm in 100+ degrees but with the gas going in the direction that its goin ($4.00+) I've been heavily considering a used GSX-R1000.

I'd say get the bike used, pay it off in 2 or 3 years, save money on gas and then when its paid off then buy a termie. They will probably be a little cheaper by then anyways.

Yeah, It would save me a ton of gas (I drive 70 miles round trip to work). And I think the 600's get 40+ mpg. Just dreading the thought or riding to work in 112 degree heat.

Holy jeepers, 70 round trip is quite a bit. But when your on a bike its not really too bad cause your in the wind. It's the stop and go traffic that will eat you up! At least the humidity isnt usually at 100% like it is here in blowHIO, that's the sh!t that will really kill ya. But they make those textile jackets that are pretty protective and allow alot of air through. So I dont know man its your call but my vote is for the bike, even though I want a Termie worse than a crackhead wants crack, the gas is just starting to get ****ing rediculous.

I was considering the same thinggetting a NewGSX-R to save money ongas. But I only drive 16Miles round trip to work. so actually i was gonna spend more on insurance+ the monthly payment+ all the safe ryding gear. In my case ill be spending more money on monthly payments than on Gas.. dont get me wrong I would love to have it. But right now im trying to save as much$$$$$$ as possible. In your case driving a bike actually might save you money in the long run+ less miles on the stang.

I'm not really doing itfor money savings, kinda the opposite. My wife just graduated nursing school and got a job. I've been putting her through school and now that she has a job, its time to reward myself! So really looking for which is the bigger fun factor...Terminator or sport bike

i personally would choose the teminator. you can have a ton of fun modifying the termy. modifications are much more limited on the bike.

how are mods more limited on a bike? you can turbo a bike, spray it, cams, exhaust, gearing, etc etc

[sm=pcwhack.gif].........[sm=wtf.gif]kinda question is that..............Stop crying about the heat (lol). Try living in Texas. July & August we touch 115-117 on regular basis and take it with a smile. Get the Cobra and call it day.
