My car has been parked in my garage for a few weeks now since I been moving into my new house, didn't have a lot of time to mess with it.  A few weeks ago I came home only to find the car had rolled forward in my garage and was against my work bench and the battery was dead.  I was a bit pissed because I figured someone was messing around with the car.  I left it at that and let it sit about a week until today.

I decided to get the car running and such, charged up the battery, figured everything was good to go until I went to hook up the battery.  As soon as I hook the terminals up on the battery the starter immediately starts to kick on and tries to start the car.  The key doesn't even have to be in the ignition.  Now I am thinking someone wasn't messing with the car but rather the starter tried to kick on while the car was sitting and caused it to roll forward and then continued to keep turning over till the battery died.  What in the hell would cause the starter to keep trying to turn the car over?  Thanks.

The starter relay is bad.  It happened to mine a few months ago but it happened while I was trying to start the car and I had to jump out and pull the terminal off real quick to get it to stop.  It's like $10 for a new one at any auto store and it takes 5 minutes to replace...

I'll give that a shot, thanks.
