Stumbled across this. We've had alot of people askng about this lately, and, while I admit i shot down the idea... on this restomod, it looks pretty damn good.

Custom hood is sharp too... looks like the standard turn signal hood with the shelby scoops mounted overtop

stripes are a bit too far spaced, but  REALLY like the treatment of the racing stripes around the front valence...overall i really like the car. Cold for $209,000 has a 427 block with a 4sp toploader.

It looks okay now, but I generally dislike it when people do those sort of exterior mods. As time goes on and that grill is no longer used on new mustangs, that 67 will look bad.

Anytime I'm looking to buy an old classic car, I hate it when some idiot in the 80s or 90s trashed it up by putting something like that on it.  It's like all the guys in the late 60s who cut out the spit window on their rare 63 corvette coupes to make them look newer.  Or the guy who put the 70s pimp-like interior into a 64 mustang.  Or the guy who painted their classic car hot pink or fluorescent yellow in the 80s because that was cool at the time.  Or hacked the roof to give their classic car "Delorean" type doors in the 80s.   I'm sure it looked cool at the time, but now the car is just ugly, and totally devalued.

I get the feeling a 1967 with a 2005 grill will feel the same way in 10yrs or so.

I think that looks a little better than a hot pink car.

I hate to see people tear up a classic or a rare car. But it's your car and your money.

If you want a pink car it's your bussiness and no one eles's.

And this one looks awesome.

I didn't know this was 1 of the Pit Vipers. I saw Pit Viper #5 I think at Barrett Jackson in Palm Beach.
