Classic Mustang With 05+ Grille... PICS - 5/13/2008 12:58:52 PM    Waffles   Posts: 928 Joined: 7/23/2007 Status: offline Stumbled across this. We've had alot of people askng about this lately, and, while I admit i shot down the idea... on this restomod, it looks pretty damn good. Custom hood is sharp too... looks like the standard turn signal hood with the shelby scoops mounted overtop _____________________________ So... my "I" key doesn''''t always work on my keyboard... just in case I miss one in my posts. As time goes on and that grill is no longer used on new mustangs, that 67 will look bad. Anytime I'm looking to buy an old classic car, I hate it when some idiot in the 80s or 90s trashed it up by putting something like that on it.  It's like all the guys in the late 60s who cut out the spit window on their rare 63 corvette coupes to make them look newer.  Or the guy who put the 70s pimp-like interior into a 64 mustang.  Or the guy who painted their classic car hot pink or fluorescent yellow in the 80s because that was cool at the time.  Or hacked the roof to give their classic car "Delorean" type doors in the 80s.   I'm sure it looked cool at the time, but now the car is just ugly, and totally devalued.   I get the feeling a 1967 with a 2005 grill will feel the same way in 10yrs or so. _____________________________ (in reply to UBY289) Post #: 11
