There are, for some reason I fail to see, people that don't believe that a car with 280whp will beat a car with 500whp from a dig race. It's not ALL about hp #'s d00d. Just because you have a m4d tyt3 SRT8 Charger/300C with more power doesn't mean you can beat a suspension/tire/chassis car with less power.
No one told the driver of the (insert high hp car here) to disadvantage himself with a stock chassis/suspension/narrow tire. Don't use the "Oh, he's running a slick, that thing is a race car" excuse either. He brought a less powerful car and you're mad that your car got spanked, end of story!
I understand what your saying, but the 280whp car probably will lose against the 500whp. Thats a little bit too big of an exaggeration, nice charger bash too.
Yes, im sure a 280whp lotus couldnt keep up with your 500hp yaught..er...Charger :P

No need for that now... We <3's all cars in the S/S sexshin, even catfis... er... Camaros/Firebirds.
I just used a 300C/Charger just because it was the most lopsided dig race I had as far as HP#'s were concerned. I was on UCAs/LCAs, full length subframes, 275 Mickeys, very basic weight reduction mods (1/4 tank of gas, gutted trunk). The Charger SRT8 was fully loaded (full tank, passenger, 18s or 20s on a street tire) and a Corsa exhaust. He talked all sorts of **** (which is fine, as long as you can back it up) and I wasn't even blown at that point. I made 284 on a Dynojet so we're talking maybe 260ish on an MD.
It was bad, I left him every single time. Since this was still towards the beginning of my Mustang ownership I really hadn't experienced a whole lot of races yet. Over time I noticed a trend that the serious guys would bring out their cars close to race weight on a good set of tires. Others would race stock chassis cars after they dumped basically all their money in the engine. It would always turn out one of two ways
A) Dig race - stock chassis'd car will always lose unless it's putting down something really serious to the wheels, at which point an bickering would ensue over the other car being a race car.
B) Roll race - A toss-up but in the event that the chassis car would get beat, he would bitch about how a roll race isn't even a "real" race.
My point is run what you brung, dig races are the only "real" races because it tests more than the top end power aspect of a car, and NOBODY told you that you couldn't touch the chassis while you were upgrading your car. Just because you wanted to spend 150 dollars on your engine rather than your stamped metal LCA's does not constitute an excuse for Friday night.
