I justa bought a 1990 Gt after owning a 1995 v6, i bought it 2 days ago the gas gauge was working before i filled it up but 10 minites after it was under the red in E and has been there for 3 days. how hard is this 2 fix and how much would it cost?

Gotta figure out whats wrong first(sender, gauge or somewhere in between).

mine does that some times Smack the top of the dash hard and it should pop back up. thats what i do to mine when it gets really low it sticks. give it a good WACK!! :) wakes mine right up.
