Maybe I am just used to my old VW and a good paint job but I have over-spray in my rear wheel wells parallel to my side skirts It dosen't bother me too much but gets on my nerves whenever it catches my eye...i'll probably just pick up some of that Dupli-Color rubberized stuff and spray down my wheel wells...

How many of you guys have over-spray in your wheel wells? (original paint job)

What about orange peel?

Pics fo' clicks

so do you guys think this is normal or what? it amazes me that a factory paint job would have this much over spray

How are you so sure it's a factory paint job?

i'm not...but if it wasn't i would truly be amazed...i just bought the car a month ago with 3100 miles...The car is perfect, no other signs of being re-painted except for this over / under spray (w/e it is)...everything is perfect...who knows, maybe it has been re-painted...

dick, it looks normal to me. To be perfectly honest (a specialty of mine), it looks like someone did a sh!tty job with the undercoat in the wheelwell, not paint overspray. Maybe I'm looking at the pics wrong, but that's what it looks like and in that case, I wouldn't worry about it unless it bugs you enough. In that case, you can go to the Zone (or something) and get one of those roll on Line-X type bed liner kits and roll it into your wheelwell to make it solid black and seal it as well.
