So there we were. Sitting at a stoplight after I was coming back from picking up my car from the shop another car pulled up next to me. My window already rolled down, I heard a female voice over my radio. "Wanna race?" she said. I laughed and said "Are you serious? sure why not!". Anticipating the light change, I revved my engine intimidatingly. BAM! *green* I slam it down and pull away fast with her trailing. In a matter of seconds I'm already at 70 and since this is the entrance to the highway, I get off. The losing car several cars behind.

I get a phone call later from my Mom, the driver of the enemy Ford Escape limited edition, telling me she was kidding and I shouldn't have scared the crap out of the guy who decided to pull a u-turn in front of us.

Here let me clarify my horrible attempt at a joke.

My mom had just driven me to pick up my car from the shop and on the way back we were both stopped at a light. She jokingly asked me if i wanted to race. I obliged and went as fast as I could, scaring some guy who decided to do a u-turn in front of oncoming traffic with a green light in the process. I later received a phone call from said parent (who was driving a ford escape) that she was just kidding.

I raced my mom once. Didnt turn out too well for me. I was in my (:() stang, she was in her 96(?) sl500. That 5.0 motor is aaaa loooottttt different then the 5.0's im used to. I think they're rated at 300crank, so, yeah, in that little convertible, she was gone!!
