other day i FINALLY got to drive my newest fox and it shifts fine and tranny is quiet untili go to 4th... grinds every time going into gear but when in 4th its super quiet... ? when i go to 5th, it goes in that gear smoothly but it has this loud ass popping noise... more like grinding the whole time you are over 65 or 70. tranny shot?? or is there something i can do to maybe help it out a little. its a t-5 out of aflorida state patrol car, and has probably been give hell all its life. its in a 93 cobra now thats been sitting about 4 years under my neighbor's pecan trees.

needs a rebuild, synchros are probably beat and i'm sure your 4th gear is chipped
