Default i cant get my grill off!

so i was going to take the grill of my car and i couldnt remove the four top screws

they just turn when i try to unscrew. i guess there stripped or something?? how do i take it off!

There should be a centre expansion plug in each of those. The cover you want to remove is the rad cover.
Pry out the centre of one, then pry out the main part.

I used a pair of offset needle nose pliers to flex the tabs on my grill and it worked great.

My opinion only. Hope it helps any.

on my 01 there were the pop it plugs on top then the bottom was screwed to the bumper

mine were stripped too, just use some pliers and rip em out, pep boys sells direct replacements for cheap if u break them

also, with those kind of plugs don't put any downward pressure when you are unscrewing them.

I believe they are plastic. On my mustang i just pulled them out with pliers.

The best way to get those plastic screws out is to get a flat tip screw driver, pry gently on the plastic round insert, then unscrew the screw with your other hand. And don't push down on the screw driver with pressure, lightly turn the screw, it will come out, the license plate bulb covers are the same way. GL
