Nashville drag strip petition
 

A group has gotten together and got a petition going to get a 1/4 mile strip brought to nashville. My sister lives down in nashville and there is a terible street race problem down there and hopefully if all of the fellow entheusiest jump in and sign we will be able to get a safe outlet for people in nashville. Is'nt Bowlingreen only about an hour away? I hope they get the track but to be honest I have 3 tracks all within and hour and half or so and we still have a lot of street racing around here.

Well, the closest track to me is Milan MI. Which is 1 hr drive across an international border. There are 3 more within 2 1/2 hrs on my side of the pond. I have never street raced.[8D] I'll sign a petition for a track any day, I think there should be a track in every town, because of these boneheads who street race. They will still street race though. I don't think I will be coming to your track any time soon though seeing as Nashville is about 10 hrs away.

Yea, beech bend in bowling green is my home track and is only about 45 minutes from me, but its 2 hours from nashville. Im one of the lucky youngsters that has a near by track to go to. I just want everyone else to have the same option. You can never have too many 1/4 mile tracks.

I'd like to see a 1/4 in Nashville. I live outside Jackson, TN which is about an hour from Memphis Motorsports Park. I go to school in Knoxville, which is only about 1.5 hours from Bristol, which also has a 1/4 mile. Nashville is 2 hours from both places, but I wouldn't mind seeing a track built there.
