hey what's up everybody. I bought a 302 from a guy that's pulling it out of a 89 mustang GT. He's been insisting me to leave it Fuel injected but...I don't know, would that be a bitch to do on these old cars?

If you get all the EFI stuff with it, not really. I prefer carbs cuz they can make better power for less money, but EFI will get better mileage 9/10 times. If you get the entire engine and the management system, harnesses, sensors etc then it should be relatively plug n play. You might experience some hood clearance issues with the intake though.

Well he basiclly pulling everything out for me, the wiring harness, cpu, tranny and everything, I'm just not all that great when it comes to electricial. I know carb. setup would be easier but, it would be pretty cool to see that 5.0 H.O  intake when you pop that hood open.

It's not that hard. The wiring harness connectors should all be set up so the right plug can only plug into the right sensor etc. If you don't know how to tune EFI then take it to a reputable tuner.

When I did the conversion the wiring was the intimidating part for me.  I looked a the harness and started to modify it then decided to buy an aftermarket harness from RJMtechnologies.com and it was very easy.  His harness is a simple plug and play.  I think you may only have to connect a few wires to the original harness.  The hardest part for me was the fuel system and where to run the lines in my convertible.  My EFI conversion started up on the first try and that was with my first engine rebuild.

It really isn't that difficult if you take you time.
