Default Cam Specs

What spec is it in a cam that would dictate how much vaccum the motor would have? I picked up a dial indicator today at work and I am gonna get the lift specs of my cam soon to find out what the hell I have. I don't have a degree wheel so I can't get everything but I am thinking of getting the performer plus cam when I install my GT40 heads. I don't have a roller block so I can't get the TF stage 1 I want.

How does money have anything to do with it? Yea I know it takes money to buy parts like Joel was listing but it has nothing to do with my question. I just need to drop these low compression 78 heads my motor came with and get hot on installing these GT40's I have siting in my gargae and buy that new cam.
