ORIGINAL: Argonaut Also - I notice a lot of folks are setting the front more firm than the rear. I'm curious why. The stock front sway is very stiff. The normal way to counter a stiff front is to stiffen the rear or soften the front. For AutoX I've done lots of fiddling and found that having the front set softer than the rear reduces understeer a bit. Anybody care to elaborate on your findings? I see that some of the other guys who AutoX, like FyouGitive, are backing up my findings.
I run softer front, stiffer rear. According to the users manual, this reduces understeer.
It's also stated in the users manual, a good starting point for drag racing is full soft, front and rear. Stiffening the rear enough to reduce wheel hop.
