Well i have two instances that will forever be on my mind. One involving me just flat out running a crown vic cop, and one getting out of a ticket for a 130 mph (no exaggeration).

The first was in Hattiesburg, MS. I was out there training soldiers to go to Iraq. I had just got my diablo tuner for my 99 gt vert that i only had for a month. I wanted to test it out on I59. I get on the interstate (which at this time was only a couple weeks after MS cops just got radar detectors for their cars) and punch it up to 100 and a cop passes me on the opposite end of the interstate, and i slow down out of fear. I see him bust a U-turn, lights go on and i make the stupid decision to run. I tell you what, that was the most fun i ever had (almost wet my pants out of fear though). I punched it up to about 135-40. till I reach two truckers blocking both lanes, so i ride the shoulder, pass them, take the next exit and run down a back road. lost him! damn i was scared but from then on i run unless they see my tags (i have too many tickets to just let them pull me over).

The second was in middle GA (small town highways). I was just having fun running down this 2 lane highway because i had just got some long tube headers and full offroad pipes. i'm passing people on this 2 lane road at speeds exceeding 100 becaude there's just never cops out here. well i calm down and start doing 75 in the 55. this cop passes by me on the opposite side of the hwy and i saw him U-turn further back (maybe 1/4 mile) so i punched it till i reached the next town (lost the cop way before i reach this town). i slow down to posted speed limit. after 5 min. or so, that some cop comes up behind me flashing lights so i pull over (no choice now). he tells me I passed an unmarked cop car doing 130 and was i aware of this. i told him no. He said that cop called him out there to check me out and he passed me doing 75 in the 55 and he also mentioned that i seemed to speed up after i passed him because he chased me for 10 miles. To this I also claimed to be unaware of the circumstances (i was freaking scared, thought i was going to jail). I was shaking and he asked why i was so shook up, i told him my mother was sick and i had to get to her in a hurry (thought it was lame at the time but...). He said "well if your" as soon as he said that the guy on the radio told him i have 3 speeding tickets already. my heart dropped. He said well it's your lucky day, i'm gonna let you get to your mom but i'm gonna let every cop in the area to know to watch out for you. Huh???? He even complimented me on my car "you don't want to wreck that pretty thing now do you" he asked me... well i know next time, i better lie my ass off!

Maybe one of the truckers took down your plate number and radioed-in the report...Did you ever think of that? You should, because it happened to me a month ago on I-5, and I was only doing 93mph......You have a death wish driving around trucks on the shoulder......NUMBSKULL!!

That's not the moral of the story. The moral of the story is don't let people who have been dropped on their heads as babies, drive fast cars.

HuH?  Why?  Ever driven in rural MS?  Doing 135 is totally believable and then getting off the highway.  Why not?  The GA one is a bit far fetched but also plausible.  I believe him.  Not like he said he pulled a Dukes of Hazzard and jumped a pond to get away.

I believe him too...There are idiots all over that have more points on their driving record than Kobe scored against the Jazz....Instead of chilling out because the next ticket will be his last with a valid DL, He goes up to 140, see's a cop, then continues to maintain 135mph passing two big rigs on the shoulder (which could have resulted in a horrific accident) to avoid getting what he deserves, His car towed and a one way ride to county jail.....Kinda wish I did'nt believe him.....But driving through Mississippi myself (Natchez to Baton Rouge,LA) I can attest that the highways are lightly traveled.....(US marker 65)

Don't run from the cops man. I learned that the hard way. I wasn't exactly driving a fast car and probably would get away if I was in the Z28. But, I'll definately never try it again.

That's him??? I saw him steal a cop car and run hundreds of people over on sidewalks. Then I saw him do some cheat on his phone that spawned him a helicoptor, full armour, and all the guns he wants..................

ya i gotta stop playing that game...

Im a cop in Honolulu and would love to chase u around. I do use my Mach as my patrol car, so it should be fun. Sad thing is that after I catch you, Im arresting you, towing your car, calling your insurance company and writing an awesome report against you. The judge will fine the crap out of you, your insurance will def go up and it'll cost you 400+ to get your car out of the impound...Damn!!! Man, dont run from cops, just pull over and man up as we all speed from time to time. Honesty does go along ways with alot of cops, especially me.

There's a problem with cops though.  In my area they all think that they can do 140mph just because they're cops.  In their squad cars and their own vehicles.  I can understand hauling ass when your code 3 (lights running trying to get somewhere) but just because is ****.  Also turning on your lights just to get through a redlight and then turning them off is crap as well.  I'm not one of those guys that says screw the popo or anything like that.  Police are needed.  I respect police and the job they do but THEY ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW.
