I put the flowmaster axle back on my 07 gt this weekend and am dissapointed with the sound, It is louder and deeper but nothing what I was expecting. I was thinking about about an o/r pipe from pypes, mainly cause its cheap. Would this get it louder? Also ive heard removing cats can hurt power, Is this true?

I had this setup on my car for just a little while, I still have the o/r h-pipe sitting in my shed. :D

Any gain or loss in power?

Not really, loss some low end torque. HP gains are minimal. They say 10-15 HP, but they might have had to much cool aid. IMO the hp gains are nothing to wirte home about

flowmasters +o/r H = weak set up. my neighbor has that on his s197 and my other neighbor had to ask me if he was still stock after hearing my set up. its not very loud at all IMO and sounds like poop[:'(]

i currently rin that setup on my car. I'm happy with it, does sound tinny rightat 2500 rpm's. as far as power i felt no difference... i think youre supposed to get a tune at this point so that may help. It is def loud though and sounds unbeleivable wide open. only complaints are from the neighbors. I really like it, Id do it again

dont get either:Dborlas + way to expensive for way too much hype, people who have them try to say they are deep and loud but they arent when you have another stang beside them with a diff set up. same goes for the flows. I guess you could say both set ups are loud when beside a dodge mini van........IMO.

click my youtube link to see exhaust set ups both that are mentioned in there and you can see for yourself how passive they both are.

if your stuck out of the 2 id go with the flows cause they are cheaper.
