Default Rattle at WOT?

Hey guys, I was merging onto a freeway, went at WOT to get on and I heard a rattle from underneath the hood. What could this be?? Both windows up and it happened with A/C on and off.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Phil

i had a 97' toyota rav4, and when i hit it at wot it would rattle under the hood. i had it looked at and it turned out to be an exhaust leak/rust out. when you say under the hood do you mean lower or higher portion?

Well, I was talking to a friend, which whom I will bitch slap later, and he told me it would be safe to run 87 in my car. We had an arguement about my car NEEDING 93 and he stated his case about "octane #'s are just the resistance to detnotation." We all know the story.
So I will have to man up and buy a Diablo tuner to tune my car for 87 octane. Does everybody agree??

Please reply with any comments,
Phil.

No your car does not NEED 93 unless you are tuned for it, which I'm guessing your not because you said that you were gonna have to buy a tuner. Your car is tuned for 87 from the factory. So I dont think I would be bitch slapping anybody, because he was right.

Well, it's pinging to 87 and never has it pinged to 93. How about a swift kick in his a**??

I really do not want to keep buying, renting even, expensive 93 octane down here in Houston. It's $4.04 down here in most areas.
Which tuner does everybody prefer??
