On the sequential tail lights, I have found 2 different manufacturers. They are both comparable in price, only difference I see is the install. Does anyone have an opinion on which one is better? Seems to me the Silverhorse ones would be easier to put in, but looking for you input.
I just ordered mine from American Muscle today, I believe they're the CDC's. Install on all Sequentials are pretty much the same with the exception of the splice-in type. Also I think there was a difference for the early 2005 models.

To the OP,
If your 2005 is an early build, i.e. before 10/05, you may want to check these. I just installed em last week, and love em. You cannot beat the price. I will edit in a link to my install for you....
mlcrycc: hey thanks for those links. Very informative writeup on the install, so simple even I can do it My car was built in 6/05 so that ^^ should work fine. Can't beat the price either! Have you ever had any issues with them? Does it burn the bulbs out faster having sequentials?

My pleasure. I cannot speak to the bulb life, as I have only had them in for a week.... No issues thus far......

I will jump in here too I got mine a year ago at http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm Top Quality Easy to Install and they give you a return postage paid return box to get a refund after you send your stock ones back to them If you want to. I can not say anything about the others but when I got mine they looked like brand new factory parts very nice.
I've got the Webelectric kit that is shown in yellow tang's post. I bought the kit that requires splicing. It was a lot cheaper, but it was easy. They included all of the parts and it didn't take long. I really thought that it was kinda fun.

They're a splice-in kit, but the install is really easy (instructions are very well written and it really just isn't hard to do) and they come with the oh-so-cool "chase" mode, as well as the option to switch between regular mode, chase mode, and normal sequential mode. The website has videos and everything so you can check out how the different modes compare.
Definitely worth a look.
I've got the chase mode on my Mustang, and people love 'em. One guy actually followed me home from a coffee shop once to tell me how cool they were and ask where I got them. If that's not the definition of a head-turner, well...
Wow, I looked at the meter4it kit picture, holy crap too many bits & pieces for me to try and figure out. Not that patient nor do I have the electronic capabilities. Thanks anyways! Little worried about my splicing into the wires, I think its a fear of shorting out the whole car type of thing

haha, it looks intimidating but it's actually not that bad. Do you have anyone with some electrical experience of any kind who could help you out for like 2 hours one weekend?
I know next to nothing about car electrical systems, so I got my pops (bit of a car guy) to help me out with the kit and once we got rolling with it everything went really fast. Probably took about an hour and a half to two hours, including a beer break.
I don't work for meter4it or anything, so I don't actually care if you go that route or not, but I think that chase mode (and the option to switch between the different modes) is totally worth the little bit of wiring work. You can see the installation instructions (which you get a copy of with the kit, of course) at: http://www.meter4it.com/Instal_Doc.htm (the 05+ instructions are down the page a bit)
Anyway, good luck with whatever your decision is. I'm pretty sure any sequential kit will get you a lot of attention while you're out cruising around, which is always fun.
I got mine from MRT Direct. http://www.mrt-direct.com/ They are the plug and play type. They are very easy to install, and have worked great in the year time since I installed them.
Well, I just got done tearing my trunk apart to see what I was getting myself into. Seems to be a quick and painless process behind that liner, so have gone with the gtconcept package. I'll post onces I get it all done. Thanks again everyone!
Talk about fast turn around! I ordered from GT Concepts on Tuesday, they shipped the units on Wednesday and they got here today! Already got them in and running!!! HeeHeeHee I can't stop giggling!!! Thanks all!
Got mine from americanmuscle.com, reasonably easy and fast install (just unscrew a few things, unplug the harness, swap the bulbs into the new harness, plug it back in, and screw everything back in). I did not want to deal with any splicing, and didn't need to switch between different modes, so it worked for me. Have had them in for about 3 months, no issues thus far. The only thing I'd do different is replace all the bulbs with heavy-duty ones, while I had the harness out of the car, just to have that done...

Got Mine Thursday and threw them on that night...Not hard AT ALL! Ordered from AM and they sent me the Webelectrics set and its the real deal, works awesome you wont be disappointed!
CDC Dynamite Sticks. FTW. The $75 core refund sold me on them. The electronic design used was far superior than the webelectrics dinosaur design from years past. The CDCs have sine wave soft start that is nicer to the bulbs. WebElectrics snap the bulb on with a square wave that shortens bulb life. Use Slvania LongLife bulbs and replace them all so taillight removal for bulb replacement can be kept to a minimal amount.
www.meter4it.com Way too many Scotchlock InsulationDisplacement Connectors, that fail over time, for me. But solder and two stage heatshrink like Ford OEM and the meter4it chase kit is nice.
