I dont like how the power wire is up like that, but other than that, it's a clean install.

Nice having the lights stay bright at idle isn't it?

? Looks like speaker wire. I wouldn't use it. Bad wiring + Mustang = Fire. Is it a 3G or 6G upgrade. Is there a megafuse in the wiring?

It's outta a 95 GT so it's a 3G. And no, no megafuse. I've seen this done with speaker wire before. All seems to work fine

Anyone know if this would better my ignition setup since I have the DP heads?

THICKER WIRE!!!!!!!!!!! you could set your car ablaze with the thin wire you're using below your power wire

I ran some 4 gauge speaker wire on my '89 GT with the 3g alt upgrade. It's been working fine for over a year. Just have to make sure to wrap it with something... the insulation on most speaker wire doesn't like heat in the least I wrapped mine in that black conduit that's all over the factory wiring harness.

I installed a 175A megafuse aswell. using bolts to clamp it to the wire because i was too lazy to run to the store Then wrapped that in electrical tape

Actually I just ran one of my friends last night but he didn't have money to buy a thicker wire at the time. I ran the two black wires for the moment & another black/orange for safety. The thing that worries me about the two black wires is they join into one smaller gauge wire with a fusable link. If the two black wires ran straight to the solenoid i don't think it would be so bad, but that's not the case.
