I just can't take creatine monohydrate anymore because my body has a weird reaction to it. Plus it makes me have the ****s. I take cytogainer now, it's good stuff as well. mustangballer20 05-12-2008, 08:21 PM are those mostly for muscle gain or also fat burning AmericanMuscle4.6GT 05-12-2008, 08:43 PM cytogainer for gaining lots of muscle mass creatine for the same glutamine to aid recovery Tonalin CLA to help fat loss Ultrashock 05-12-2008, 08:50 PM ORIGINAL: AmericanMuscle4.6GT cytogainer for gaining lots of muscle mass creatine for the same glutamine to aid recovery Tonalin CLA to help fat loss Do you take creatine monohydrate? If so does it kind of make your body react in a weird way? SWATSCHOOL 05-12-2008, 08:57 PM I don't suggest them now that I have seen some of my buddies go into withdrawl after not having the stuff. Don't take the easy way, slowly but surely you'll get to where you need to get. connor90 05-12-2008, 08:59 PM why the rush to get big? if i were you id stick with the safe(r) stuff like creatine and protein supplements. although too much protein can cause protein shock and ive heard that creatine can be bad for your liver. AmericanMuscle4.6GT 05-12-2008, 09:06 PM ORIGINAL: Ultrashock ORIGINAL: AmericanMuscle4.6GT cytogainer for gaining lots of muscle mass creatine for the same glutamine to aid recovery Tonalin CLA to help fat loss Do you take creatine monohydrate? If so does it kind of make your body react in a weird way? yes, and yes. it can mimic the symptoms of a common cold if you don't drink enough water. it takes some getting used to also, but overall, in small doses over a couple months, you'll see real gains. the best part is the feeling you get when you work out. you feel so much stronger and can do a much better workout sarNz 05-12-2008, 09:14 PM fast metabolism for fat loss 2 scoops of protein after a workout, chicken for dinner those are my supplements :D connor90 05-12-2008, 09:20 PM quickest way to lose fat naturally is interval training. look it up, its hard stuff but if working out were easy everyone would be in shape. Devil Wolf 05-12-2008, 11:48 PM ORIGINAL: AmericanMuscle4.6GT ORIGINAL: Devil Wolf ORIGINAL: mustangballer20 also my buddy told me to try hydroxycut hardcore...any good? i was on that stuff for a for a few months, i just got off it. made me sick. i lost weight because i felt too nauseous to actually eat. just run and eat right. im still on creatine and protein but im bulking up/ trying to keep my muscle now. id hesitate recommending creatine because it makes you piss. like all the ****ing time. maybe thats just me though. HAHAHA.......yes, it does, its ridiculous. i've never pissed so much. its weird, because supposedly it makes you retain water. kinda glad its not just me then. its awkward as hell too because my office is a good deal away from the nearest washroom at my job, so i end up walking by all of the accounting staff like 50 times a day. i bet they think im on drugs or something. 302army187 05-12-2008, 11:58 PM lol, if you want to talk some crazy ****, i can tell you some crazy **** my friend! back in 05 when i was in the army, i was a little nutty about supplements. i would guess i spent $150-250 a MTH on suppliments. if you look at the supplements that came out around then, ive taken them all, and no, thats not much of a exaderation. #1) stay the F*CK away from hydroxycut. i almost had a heart attack (no joke) from it. i took it before a 8 mile run with no food (was sapposed to be a light jog, but my sgt's surprised us) i passed out, and 50min later, i still had a heart rate of 150bpm! #2) if it sounds too good to be true............. 99% of the time it really is. #3) the best out there is protein (ive found cheap wal-mart protein works fine, but if you can afford the complex kinds that have gluclosamine, Creatine, etc etc all mixed it is worth the extra dough) and Creatine........but make sure with Creatine that you drink more water, as it will drain you! #4) KNOW YOUR BODY TYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i gain weight (fat and muscle) very very easy, and burn it off slowly. ive found that with this body type (mesomorphic) i can absorb insane amounts of protein. with a light lifting routine, i intake 1.5-2g of protein per pound of LEAN MASS with heavy lifting, i take in 2.2-3.5g of protein per pound of lean mass at 170-180lbs of lean mass, thats right, im eatting a TOOOOOOON of protein. say it with me protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key, protein is key!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. also my body responds well (weight loss, and muscle gain) to LIGHT cardio 4 times a weak, and HARD CORE heavy liftin 3-4times a week (im a big fan of 5X5 training, look it up if you dont know what it is) also i dont dick around with bs workouts (10lb barbell curls for 50reps) i stick to compound exersizes. squats, rows, bench, etc anything that uses many muscles at once..... if you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask. 302army187 05-13-2008, 12:03 AM oh and btw your body will get use to a work out in about 1-3wks! always switch up your exersizes. and ive youve been hitting it HARD for 2-3mths........ take a 2 wk break........ youd be amazed what it will do for you Sean W. 05-13-2008, 12:08 AM ORIGINAL: AmericanMuscle4.6GT cytogainer for gaining lots of muscle mass creatine for the same glutamine to aid recovery Tonalin CLA to help fat loss +1000000000 on cytogainer, americanmuscle4.6GT recomended it to me when i started working out, and i put on 40 pounds of mucle in 2 years... but i work out twice a day everyday... brian1570 05-13-2008, 12:34 AM well what my regiment is that i drink amuscle milk and eat a myoplex bar everyday. thats 52g of protein total. so far its done good, my muscles have been firming up really well and im feeling more swole after my works outs when im still pumped. i havnt been gaining any weight really(yet) but im kind of training for endurance right now(compared to most peoples work out)and am not expecting too(yet) but soon tho i intend to change gears and go to a heavier lifting work out. so i am also curious about somethings out there, like NO xplode. heard it was like roids in powdered form. is it really that bad or is it just hype? connor90 05-13-2008, 12:42 AM oh and that EAS vanilla protein powder at costco kicks ass...it tastes really good for protein. brian1570 05-13-2008, 12:45 AM yeah eas is who makes the protein bars i eat. they taste really good too, just kinda chewy. plus it has 30g of protein per bar. 302army187 05-13-2008, 01:02 AM no explode is very good, but i never got great results, i like it for the energy boost. thats about all i noticed (pumps sometimes) |
