Default 5.4 Swap?

Heard about it a few times..

Anybody else heard or seen the new-gen style stangs with a 5.4 swap out of the navigator?
They have the 5.4 4v...specifically models from about 98-2000...

I have been doing alot of reading, and am wondering if this would be do-able for our cars...

what do you guys think?

I know theres somebody running around with this done, but i dont know how much custom fabrication was done...and i cant find it on the net or anything...but the 5.4 4v with a TT setup and hes pushing 900+ lbs torque...

I dont want that kind of power...but the bigger V8 would open alot of doors for potential!?!

how much more does it weigh then the 4.6?

I'd rather build up the 4.6.

Haven't heard of anyone swapping out for the 5.4 4v. Saw someone swap for the second generation Lightning 5.4 3v with TT.

There is someone that regularly posts on these forums with a dark blue s197 w/white stripes that has swapped that 4v engine into his car. Can't think of his name, though.

Its not an S197 but this 2001 mustang from Monterrey Mexico has done that swap, a 5.4 4V Navigator engine, has a turbo on it + Nitrous.
