I went over to the local speed shop and picked up a N20 system from NOS for my 04 GT. It is the NOS Sniper (orange bottle) wet system, p/n 07005NOS... Now I get home and the manual says its for 4 & 6 cylinders :( ... Rep said that NOS doesn't make a specific kit for the 4.6, so to get a universal kit.
Will this work? Did I buy the right kit? I paid $375 for it.

Thanks for the response. I ended up calling NOS tech line and they said the same thing you said, "same system, just smaller jets"... :), which is what I want for now, 75 shot is fine :)
I am going to have to go back to the archives, I remember reading some of your posts favoring dry or wet, I can't remember, though. I might have to tap into your N20 knowledge as I move forward on my install :).
One more question... Since I need to tap into my fuel for this wet system, where would I tap into ? Am I going to have to do some drilling / tapping :( on a fuel rail or something or is there another way?

If Im thinking correctly the only diff is the jet chart in your manual is for a v6. Nitrous jet should be the same but in a v8 you probably need a larger fuel jet, thats how it was with my zex kit for my v6 camaro.
when i put nitrous on my 04 civic i just cut the ruber fule line closest to the fule rail leaving room for the brass t and put the brass t that came with the kit in and used hose clamps on the rubber line and the n20 line just screwed right in the t that was a nos efi kit should be the same but that was on a 04 civic not mustang

I just recieved the same kit except mine says for Ford and Chevy V8s. Install is planned for the weekend.
Take a pic of the install and post. I am interesting to see exactly where you connect the fuel line. Reading in another thread here it's a schraeder valve that it attaches to.

actually i like dry, i also rarely squirt more than 80 or so , the biggest gains you'll see are the in the first 75-100 of nitrous. then like any other hp, you need more to do the same thing.
anyways , you can pick up fuel in the rail by just removing the inner part of the schrader valve, then adapting to it.
check out this pdf link for the kit... kind of generic since it's universal, but pic is worth a thousand words any day.

Thanks guys. That's the same manual I got with the kit, but now I can read it from the office and get ready for the install :).
I am glad it's teh Schrader valve. That is the only fear I have. I have no desire to take the fuel rail out and tap it or change it out. I am going to look at it tonight and see if I can locate the schrader valve... passenger side of driver side? (Hey, I haven't worked on a Mustang for over 5 years when they stold my '93 LX 5.0 (which I had since new btw, :( )

'04 GT 5 spd 75 shot of NOS - "Throttle in a bottle"...sitting in the trunk, not installed yet, LOL
just so when your chevy buddies bust your ballz... or you bust some azz of some big block fool..... here are more
1) if bottles are 4 babies why are u the 1 crying ? 2) there are only 2 kinds of cars... ones w/ nitrous and ones that NEED nitrous
ahhh... i'm drunk , can't think of any more
post up some times and comparo...
LOL, I hadn't heard those in a while.. Yeah, I'll post some times when I do d install. "I'M" planning it for this coming weekend, if I sort out this fuel rail issue... :(
I got all but the wiring done. I have pics but Ill have to resize them to show. It was not bad at all. I ran the line from the little hole in my trunk into the engine compartment. I mounted the N2O solenoid on the fender so the line from the bottle was a straight shot to it. I drilled a hole in my air inlet duct and screwed the nozzle into it. Put the fuel solenoid to a screw on top of the valve cover since they only give you one foot of hose from the fuel test port to the solenoid. Then we put in the jets and tightend up the lines from the solenoids to the nozzle. The wiring will not be a problem, its really easy to read.

I ordered the NX adapter since I don't have a schrader valve and am going to do the plumbing this wknd, I took THur-Fri off, so hopefully can jump on it sooner. It seems pretty straight forward; bolt bottle brackets down, run fuel line, mount fuel / n20 solenoids, drill intake... voiala.... Sounds like a good idea , breaking the install into two parts...
I want to go kill some Evos at the local track....:) , not sure the N20 will do it though, they r pretty quick, LOL.
How long did it take you to do that piece of the isntall?
