Hi!

I am new the forum and registered mainly to see if I am insane for considering this.  A 1973 Mach 1 with numbers matching 351W has come up for sale near me for $600.

The catch, it may consist of more rust than car.  Is it worth attempting to save?  Should I just run screaming?  It would definatly be a bigger project than I have attempted before, but I am looking to do a complete rotissarie rebuild.

Even if the car isn't salvagable the engine seems like it is.  Should I buy it pull the engine and scrap the rust that surrounds it?  Then I could rebuild it and either have it when I find a workable body or sell it so I can by a better starting project.

Bank Account: I figure I can sink about $10 to $15 over two years before the wife starts asking about the kid's college.
