my girlfriend and I were driving home lastnight. Stopped at ared lightwhen a factory-bone-stock looking blue focus came in the lane next to me. He started to rev his engine, meanwhile i am thinking, WTF? this guy is out of his mind if he thinks hes going to take me in that.....Light goes green, i hit it...hard....pulled waaaay on him thru first, then second, then that blue motherfcucker FLIES past me like i am standing still.....my girlfriend and I are speechless...a tear dropped from my eye. He slowed up, now from a roll....was in second, three honks, i start pulling, then again...he blows my FCUCKING doors off! He turned off before I could get him to stop and see what kind of money he threw into this thing...So basicallly, if your driving around the streets of LV, beware of the blue focus!!!!! You dont even know the embarrassment i was feeling lastnight.....

thats the crazy part....didnt hear a turbo bov, or a supercharger whine....just a mildly loud exhaust....but it was NOT a fart can....looked like a 2.5" exhaust pipe exit....

He could have been spraying. I was at the local hang out last weekend and there was this silly kid there with a 75 shot on a sentra. Ya never know. But I'd bet he had some type of forced induction and you were consentrating so hard on your driving that you just didn't pay attention to his car til it flew past you.

I had that happen to me in my 00 V6 many years ago. I was on the freeway in CA (Highway 52) and had a Toyota Celica ('00-03)come flying up behind me while I was doing 70. Then heswings out beside me and we both slow down (No one on the freeway since the it had just opened a few months prior) to about 30 and hit it. I put about two car length on him by the time we hit 80 and then all of a sudden he goes flying past me. I started to reel him in by the time I hit my speed limiter (115ish) then its like his spray ran out and I really caught him.
Around that same time (many years ago) a POS RX-7 did the same thing to me. I had him on the freeway and then goes flying by. We did this twice. This guy pulled off the freeway with me, and sure enough, had a shot of nitrous. I don't remember how big it was but he said he had left many a Mustang drivers (GT included) stymied.
