Depends on who you get it from... in my opinion you shouldn't pay more than 250$

Depends if its new, rebuilt, needing rebuild, .48 or .63 hot side etc.

I bought one in perfect working order for $230 shipped to my door (.60/.68) and an IHI for $65 shipped, both working

well there is no "non IHI";)

theres a Borg Warner IHI and a Garret T3.

the T3 is better because it will feasibly create more boost? am i right sleeper?

if you don't have a turbo yet, why not look into getting a T3/T4 hybrid if you plan on doing some GO FAST applications[8D]

Close. A T3 is a better turbo becaise it's more efficent in making boost till 23 PSI, where as the tbird IHI is only good till about 18-19 PSI. After those levels all the turbo makes is heat.
