So this weekend i started removing my pin stripes.  All was going well mind you, but i came across certain areas that wont budge.  What gives?

I started working on a small foot sized section on the back using goo gone. (the mild safe variety, as there are stronger abrasive versions of it) Well was working them off fine, but i got to certain sections that just will not budge.  Im cetain they are the sticker type stripes, otherwise i couldnt have gotten them started to begin with.  I would take and upload pics but its raining so wont do much good today as they really wouldnt be visible.

I've run my hand across the stripe and its definitly on the surface but some of it is not going away, HELP!

try heating them up a little using a blowdryer or something.  that should soften up the adhesive on then, and then you can take off what residue is left with the goo gone

I have a heat gun that doesnt get that hot, so i should be able to give that whirl.  It almost feels like the damn stripes are baked in there on some spots, they are all faded an such.

There is a spray at Auto Zone called decal remover that works great and doesn't harm the paint.
