Im have a 99' Cobra.  Its pretty much stock excpet for an X-pipe and Flowmaster exhaust.  Im looking at reaching the 600+ RWHP mark.  I know I can reach this goal with my 99'.  But I was wondering if it would be more cost evffective if I bought an 03'/04' Cobra instead and did the mods on that to reach the 600+ mark?  I've thought about this for a long time now.  And since Im in Iraq, I really dont have that much to do on my free time but look at parts.  If the 99' is the better choice, would I have to rebuild the engine and get rid of the stock internals?  Any type of input will help out a great deal.

Thanks

SGT Jesse Martin

If an 03 is in your price range, by all means get it.  To make your 99 handle the power, internals and transmission are in call, as well as a differential.  You still may have to worry bout "the fix" and the subframe bolt problems.  Compare that to a kenne bell and tune and your darn close?  Theres no beating an 03/04...hands down
