Default Gas cap thief

Last night my mustang and two other mustangs in the same parking lot were broke into so to speak.
They took our gas caps and no other cars were touched Does anyone know why someone would steal a gas cap? I caught them in the act and
So maybe they had more planned.

since our gas caps are 'tied' on so to speak, someone most likely didnt leave theirs sitting at a pump and went around looking for one to steal.

probably some douchebag with a civic and his buddy with an accord got bored one night and decided stealing gas caps from mustangs would be cool, since they cant do anything else.

If you caught them in the act, did you ask them why, or did you justkill them first?

Back when I had my '86GT someone stole both windshield wipers, arms & all. They also stole the plastic cowl piece that is at the base of the windshield. [:@]

I'm guessing they "needed" those parts for their car & didn't wanna go to the parts store for them

Hey are kids still stealing hood/grill emblems from cars?

well i'm still in break-in so i cant go above 7grand right now but yeah. cant wait to get her broken in, another 150 miles and i can do 9 grand, 400 miles after that its on. its also only got 400 miles on the tires and i can still see a good amount of the factory wax stuff on theoutside of the tiresso i'm not trying any knee dragging just yet. it takes alot of carto even hang with a stock 600cc.
