Default Best T5 Fluid?!?!?

What is the ABSOLUTE BEST fluid to use in a T5. Im looking to quiet it down a little and hopefully smooth out my shifts. Who has had positive expieriences with royal purple, gm snycromesh, etc?

+1... I used Royal Purple in my Bullitt and never had any problems with it... FYI - if you use Royal Purple and want good smooth shifts, use the automatic transmission version of the Royal Purple tranny fluid... the one meant for the manual transmissions will cause stiff and hard shifts when the engine and tranny are cold!!!

The title of my other one was discouraging

but anyways what about making it quieter, has anyone ever had a whiney trans then used a particular fluid and the whine went anyway?

Thinner oil is likely to make it noisier.

I used RP, and my T5 began to grind a few weeks later.
