This is the second time I have raced this motha effer. The first time I had to slow up cus I had to turn so it really didn't count. This time he comes speeding up behind me and pulls up next to me and revs. So I know I could beat him so I drain out his pussy rev with my roar. When he pulled up to me though he moved over to the other lane....that in a bout a quater mile merges into 1 lane. So I took that as him being a cocky son of a gun right off the bat. So we went at it...I spun my non-sticky tires as usual but got up on him and then he started coming up and got next to me then barely ahead of me, I was still in second and was about to throw it into 3rd but if I would have we would have been neck and neck and he would have been in the field or in my passenger seat, so I let his a** in. Did I do the right thing and also what kinda of power do the preludes lay down?

What year prelude was it? He must have been pretty modified to hang with you.

That car had to be built or turbo'd to be able to run along with you.. They are high 14s MAYBE on a glorious day

Hey was modded for sure....now I don't know how heavily but unless he was turbo'd I felt like I should have had him within the first 100 ft.

Never judge a book by it's cover! Good try anyway.

Well sheit muslim....its not like I lost! I hit my damn breaks before I put it into 3rd...I let him in to avoid a damn wreck, which I might not be able to explain to well.

Really bad....probably for the first 5-10 ft. actually...the road had some gravel on it to which didn't help my cause....

Sh!tty, but o well f*ck em. Next time you see him tell him to meet you at the track and then see who is the cocky SOB at the end of the night.

if it's a vtec then it has 195 hp. i used to have a 560whp prelude. be careful any car can be fast with the right amount of money.

My friend owns a Type R Integra with a B18C V-tec engine. He always has the edge in every race. The H22 engines i've never seen perform that well to be honest. The closest race was against the earlier type Prelude's, i beat him by only half a car length, but he was modded (still NA though).

I'm guessing you're in the high 13's?.. that day probably 14+..

To Whitefox, most Prelude's i've seen are consistent high 14 second cars. So bringing them into the low 14'sshouldnt be too hard.Have you ever seen/raced a built/turbo prelude?.. I have.. only to find out what the distance is between a mid 12 and low 14 second car.

h22's don't perform that good? have you heard of stephen papadakis? or jeremy lookofsky? both ran h22's and were running 8's in the quarter. my built prelude on street tires was running high 11's. with 2.3 60 ft's.

Was that on street tires or DRs/slicks? Just wondering.

I said that I have never seen them perform that good here. Who cares if they ran 8's with they're preludes.. Bisi Ezeroiha did the same with crappy D engines.

Stock for stock, i'd take a B18 or K20 over an H22 anyday. JMHO

i just said, i've seen better performance from B18's and K20's.

Nice race. He had to be packin a turbo to keep up. Of all the hondas out there the prelude is the on I'd own and trick out if I had to do a Honda. Easily the best looking honda in my opinion.
