I have recently installed blue LED underglow on my ride and put neons where the feet go in the car i just want to know you "honest" opions on what you think Im trying to post these pictures but they look like crap because with flash is to bright and without is to dark lets see how these do...
These also dont do justice at all.... the glow is an actual glow it looks like small crappy neons in the picture lol

Aren't blue neons illegal? Since its like impersonating a cop or something?

i like the inside ones for sure, but im a little iffy about the outside ones.

They would probably look better if you had more exterior mods and it didn't just look stock.

It's rice, it does not belong on a Mustang.

The interior ones are an option on 08+ mustangs and they are actually pretty cool (...ahem mood lighting). The exterior ones do not belong on muscle cars, especially Mustangs.

i have interior blue mood lighting.........but the underglow is only nice if......it is a full underbody glow.....the car is lower and is modded and are used at SHOWS FOR SHOW PURPOSES

The only time you see glow is at shows. The only shows where they have lights is HID/HIN. "Hot IMPORT Day/Night". Notice the emphasis on "Import".

I mean it is nice, but most people hate it, especially americans.

if you like it thats what counts...im of the opinion that glow is show and moreso if you suspension work etc....ive seen it done well... at shows...on the road....well as im fond of saying...its your ticket.....

if your gonna show it and do some undercarriage work....then keep it....

I like the blue interior lights you got going on..though if I were to do it I would go with RED instead being that my GT is black and it would look meaner.:D

My opinion...

For show with a diamondplate platform or something nice, REALLY nice.

For street = Straight out rice.

Same goes for the inside. It looks a bit tacky. The most I would ever do would be added MINOR spotlight led's in certain areas that might make sense.

My last car I actually put some into the vents for accent lighting (red). They looked nice. The ones on the ------------floorboards, sides, rear, roof, under seat, under car, in wheels, inside threads of wheels, under the carpet, in the tailpipe, in the back pockets of passengers... They all look kind of tacky when you are looking at a mustang from another person's perspective.

Oh just another idea...

If it's not too late, return them for a refund, save up some money and get yourself some nice polished bullit rims or something. That would definately have a WAY better impact visually all around your car.

I don't think it's legal in my state.
If you want them on for car shows, then fine, but for everyday use is too rice for me.

I know I would take alot of beating for it ha... as far as wheels I will take a beating for those as well seeing as to im going to get 5 spoke 20's more than likely and lowered like the saleen cars look but as a big fan of the fast and furious and other likeness shows I like the look they give even though the pictures really dont do justice lol..... I understand your hate of the rice on the muscle car but this car will not be rice lolI have an eclipse that that is for i just havent seen many stangs with it.....

p.s. no it is not illegal as long as it is not flashing or the bulbs cannot be seen just the glow is what my fellow police officer told me...

keep the bashing or loving coming or mostly bashing haha

not bashing, but personally I don't see any point in spending that much money putting more things on your car that are only going to make it slower. 1200-watt soundsystem next? Lambo doors? Just enjoy it, but it's not any urge I've ever had to do to a car.

You need to check out the laws of every state as it varies from state to state.

I'm about 98% sure that Underglow or Neons are illegal in the state of Virginia. That's why we don't see too many because they are considered a distraction for other drivers.

Definitely rice. Gives V6 owners a bad name for sure.

As for the laws, I know you can have white ones but any other color=illegal.

LOL you did too. The sad thing is I like neon under a car at a car show and when in FLA I have seen it on Ricers and That is the ONLY thing on a Ricer I Like. LOL I do not have the kahonas to put it on my car for fear of having my Mustang License revoked LOL That was Funny As far as 20" go That dog just aint gona bark around here. LOL people don't like 20" on our cars But I have noticed that almost all Big car Moded Show cars Like from Cervinis ALL have 20" rims on them. I have 18" on my car and I think that is the MAX for our S197 and I am sure there are people on here that will say NO 17" is Max so to quote another Max (Maxwell Smart) I missed it by That much but I still have my Mustang License LOL

If you like them, get them. I do like them! As long as your car looks nice then go ahead and get them. I don't like seein neons on cars that the neons actually cost more than the car does!!

I think that there OK. I don't think It's for me. But if you like it, power to ya!!! But ya sure got some action on the question. Just remember, there is an on off switch. Put em on when you want, turn em off when ya don't. I wish I had a switch for my stripes!!!

Lowering and putting 20s on is a far cry from what you have going on now. I think most people here like 20s actually, they arent good for racing usually but they do look hot a hell most of the time. Get the wheels you want!

thats for sure first thing i show a girl when they step foot in the ride i go hey push that button right there adn you just see them in astonishment gotta love it;)

i agree.. +1 on the footwells.. im going to do the same thing soon... underglow.. not so much

20s look good but arent really performance based if you will...i will add that if you intend to keep the lights and attract attention to the bottom of the car you very next mods should be rims...and painted rocker panels....

wow... umm... to echo what others have said - if you like 'em, more power to ya. personally, not my thing, don't belong on my Mustang... but if that's the look you're going for, then you're on the way.

kids these days... big giant pants, hippity-hoppity music, and neons on a mustang. i have become my father.

im thinking about doing the footwells but nothing else...
