Default Transmission - Will It Work?

Hey I have a 1995 Mustang GT 5.0 I just bought off my aunt and it is an automatic I was wondering if an older model 5-Speed will bolt up to the block and if so what years will bolt up and also what slave cylinder do I need and what pedal and shifter should I use.

first of all, 94-95s have a cable actuated clutch so there is no slave cylinder.

you would need a pedal assembly and a tranny from a 94-95. older modelshavea different size input shaft.

theres probably more that you need but i cant think of it now.

yep search button is your friend on this one..cuz theres been many many posts on swappin trannys...but he got the main ones..the pedals gotta come from a 94-5...and its easier to get a t5 from a 94-5 cuz then u dont have to change anything..but if you find a fox t5 u can swap input shafts and it will work the same ...and ya..its cable operated not hydralic..

you need a 94-95 tranny and if you use a fox t-5 you need to change the input shaft to a longer one and use the sn-95 bellhousing, also needed will be clutch pedals ect ect.....

you dont need to touch the rear end. you will need to find a 94-95 input shaft to put on the older model t5.
