sway bar
im gonna go one of these days to the junkyard and pull the rear sway bar off an 86 turbocoupe
should i bring a jack or anything and how hard is this to do |
RE: sway bar
Bring a jack or use car jacks there, and bring a wrench;)

RE: sway bar
Not hard to do at all, just a matter of undoing four bolts, two on each side. I just got one the other day. I think I neededa 14mm or 15mm socket, can't remember for sure, but it was the only one I didn't have so ittook a little longer, but still less than a half an hour. I took a jack, but did not need it asthe car was resting on a stack of tires. I didn't even have to jack up my car or take the wheels off to get it on.Nice easy upgradewith a great end result.

RE: sway bar
great
i planon gettin an lsd out of a bronco II or aerostar soon to and then getting my turbo motor finally but i cant wait for friday to get this thing did the 86's have them and did they have better front sway bars too |
RE: sway bar
All you need is the 15mm, a ratchet, and an extension, as long as the car is on wheels and tires that have air in them, you dont need to jack it up.
Get the front swaybar too. It's more difficult to get, but both of the swaybars make a big impact. |
RE: sway bar
