moontang -> went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 4:36:56 PM)

was my first time being it was nice went to see iron man and the ruins only cost 5 dollars a person to get inand they had a grill and every thing anyone have on enear you or been to one we had to drive about 30-40 mins to ge to this one

BTW if you havent see the ruins its along the same line as cabin fever kinda thing kinda dumb and corny but its w/e iron man was amazing esp essing as the screen was HUGE and we were laying in the back of a jeep all comfy and what not instead of sitting in those god forsaken theater chairs

God damn, use some puncuation!

SWATSCHOOL -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 4:40:12 PM)

I used to go when I was little, but I don't really have the car for a drive in.  Center consoles will dig into your ribs if you lean over.

I love going to the drive in. My cousin and his girlfriend come along, we just chill in the bed and watch. its great. plus its WAY cheaper then a theater

moontang -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 4:50:01 PM)

65rangoon -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 5:19:41 PM)

ive never been to a drive in.  theres one right around the corner from my place.

you must have some cheap/crappy theatres around you.   the ones around here or in the quad cities/iowa city are nice.  well the newer ones haha.  im about 6'4" - 6'5" and i can slouch clear down to where my head is on the back of the chair and my knees dont even touch the chair ahead of me.  then they have the seats stacked so steep that even if i sat up the person behind me wouldnt have much issue seeing over my head

SKAR -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 5:24:09 PM)

theres a drive-in about 10 minutes away, then theres the "Mustang Drive-in" thats about 20 minutes away,

both are like $5 person, and usually have 3 movies, and 1 night a week or so its sundown to sunrise,

either bring a bunch of blankets and pillows or lawnchairs[8D]

Redneck97 -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 6:55:52 PM)

torrenting movies is better. Id rather lay on my bed an watch a movie.

SKAR -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 6:56:53 PM)

no

landon.moss -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 7:07:04 PM)

they got rid of all the drive ins around here...there's only one left in the whole state about 30 min away...2 movies for 7 bux isn't bad - as long as you don't go in flippin July when it's 90 something and 80% + humidity[;)]

i can't believe they still have so many wherever you guys live...there used to be 1 every once in awhile and then 7 in the city alone

SKAR -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 7:11:55 PM)

canada........

i cant wait until we get talkies, and the fancy color tv ive heard you guys have down there

of course most nights in the summer the snows to bad to sit at the drive-in, and the polar bear attacks have gotten pretty bad the last few years

landon.moss -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 7:19:40 PM)

We went last Memorial Day weekend down to Ruskin and they had a drive in down there.  That place was packed to the gills.  Good family fun.

except for there is currently a bill going through that would allow the MPAA/RIAA seize your personal property that you used to download the copyrighted material and they can also have the local law enforcement seize property to cover the fees that you would have otherwise had to pay

moontang -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/11/2008 7:53:29 PM)

i kinda wanna take my car up there once there were quite a few mustangs up there a decent looking silver s197 a white 6er like mine with a stalker kit[:'(] and a resto'd classic that looked good plus its got a retro feel going to a drive-in in a mustang but the back of the jeep was dank all kinds of pillows and blankets chilly a bit outside and warm under them [:D]

britzeee -> RE: went to a drive in movie last night (5/12/2008 2:52:32 PM)
