LT's pick up a little more power over the stock headers. They are really needed when you go with a supercharger.
That's not true at all. Aftermarket headers aren't needed until you're around 300something rwhp. Although LT's are nice for a small power increase.
True they aren't needed, but dyno's have proven that with boost the stock headers just aren't cutting it. I know that my factory headers are a MAJOR restriction.

well i dont think im going to be putting on a s/c or turbo on this car. i am only 17 and it already has 90,000 miles so im not going to bother with major power stuff, im going to stick with bolt on's like intakes, tuners, exhaust, maby a pully later idk yet. so i think im going to go ahead and order this stuff. its too bad there isnt one site that has h pipes and cats at a reasonable price.
I have some of the takeoff exhaust from my GT. Specifically from the balljoints at the H connection to the mufflers. I cut them at the axle hops to get it all out. will those work on the h-pipe i listed at the beginning of this post
