i have a 73 mustang with a 302 2v motocraft remanufactured carb, when i hit around 60 mph it seems as if the carb is not getting any gas even though i still got my foot on the pedal, im not shure how to explain it but its like the engine is choking.

hm, ive never had that. what hppens when you go from cruising to a sudden punch on the pedal? im wondering if mabeye your EGR valve might be funky. (that thing on the back of the carb)
