Ive made a couple of visual upgrades to my 86 Stang with a 2.3 Auto
-16x8 Cobra R's
-Tinted windows

Im starting to get pissed off because the car looks real sharp now nd im getting all sorts of people who want to race me-pullin up next to me and rev up then take off.

Ive been ignoring this for about two weeks now and i cant take it anymore-I wanna drop a 3.8 out of a 99-03 Stang into my car
While its out id like to install H/C/I + Bolt-ons

My question is what else do i need to change??
Thanks

IF your gunna swap id do it the right way and go with at least a windsor engine, if not a gt engine. I say sell the car and buy a gt if its that big of an issue

Thats what i was originally going to do when i first bought the car-drop the 2.3 and drop in a Procharged 331

Little did i know,...you have to change over the suspension, transmission, brakes, driveshaft, rearend, and reinforce the body to get it to handle that type of power.   Oh yea + the raised insurance and gas-which is now $4.00 per gallon for regular

Thankfully the 3.8 V6 is around the same weight and i only have to do minimal changes to get it to work-from what im guessing,...maybe a K member, diff bellhousing, Gt brakes, T Lok, subframe connectors,........ne others im missing???

331 is a stroked 5.0, if you want to swap a v8 atleast go with a 351

email supersixmotorsports, they have a v6 notch that runs 10s
