T5 fluid to quiet it down a little... - 5/11/2008 9:26:23 AM    ckyguy68 Posts: 2087 Joined: 1/5/2006 Status: offline I bought a used rebuilt T5 that was behind a 347 that ran high 11s, but i know the guy and he did not absuse it. It shifts great, the only complaint is it whine in 1st-3rd and then quiets in 4th, then makes a little in 5th. I talked to an old teacher and he said synthetic and possibly even a little gear dope would quiet it down. Suggestions on a fluid?
