I have an 89 Lx Vert 2.3 I4. I was wondering what I can do to upgrade my system . I have already half shafted the TB and took out the silencer on the intake tube.  Im stickin with the N/a untill I can do my v8 swap, so in the mean time.....
I want to do an upgrade on these things:

ECM = which is mine, and which can I use for an upgrade and out of what car can I get it from at the junkyard?
Injectors = what size?
Fuel Rail = ?
Camshaft = to work evenly with the injectors/ecm setup?
Porting the head = how much $$ will that run me?
Pulleys?
Timing = Any advancing or retarding to get a little more power?
Changing PCV valve or Fuel Pressure Regulator will that help?
EGR= ??
Disconnecting the Knock Sensor

OR what else can I do without changing motor components... like the head or pistons or anything like that.
Anything and everything will help.
Just want to keep this motor for a bit since it only has 89k on it.

A stock MAP sensor (SD) computer. Best you'll get without swapping a whole engine.

Injectors = what size?
Stock are #14, so they will be fine unless major mods are done.

Fuel Rail = ?
Stock is best.

Camshaft = to work evenly with the injectors/ecm setup?
Ranger roller cam, you'll have to convert to MAF for anything bigger, but you'll be the only person to do it

Porting the head = how much $$ will that run me?
Depends, stage 1 is $250 from bo-port, stage 4 is over $1000

Pulleys?
Stock unless your going to be running high RPMs because it could overheat in traffic

Timing = Any advancing or retarding to get a little more power?
Advancing it 2-3* is good, but you'll have to run higher octane fuel

Changing PCV valve or Fuel Pressure Regulator will that help?
Only change if they need to be changed (FPR, if fuel is in the vacuum, line, PCV if air is being blown by)

EGR= ??
Stock

Disconnecting the Knock Sensor
Not without higher octane...

Get a header from a 94-95 ranger 2.3.

Thats all you can really do since no one plays with the stock N/A computer much

Hey, thanx for the reply Sleeper, its funny though , cause while I was outside, I was just staring at my engine in a daze for like 10 minutes and I said ,"F**k It!" Im gonna turbo the stock engine till i detonate it. I took out all the AC crap , plumbing and core and blah blah. So now I just need to find the parts.

Already serached some JY's , not a damn thing in anything. One had one thunderbird , but not turbo, and I live in philly, where u think would be a billion cars at my disposal... ya know? Retarded ass city!!!
