Default Light up Mustang logo in grill?

I was browsing around on the internet and saw a car that seemed to have the Mustang logo in the grill, light up. I thought that was an awesome idea so I was wondering if anybody has this or has done this to their car and how exactly did you do it? I don't know if there's a specific grill you can buy, i've been searching. I'd just want it to light up along with my headlights. I'm sure I could rig up some sort of light behind the logo but I'd want to keep it just behind the logo. I'd imagine throwing together some sort of box behind the grill around the light would help keep it in that area.

You might try getting some of those leds that are in a flexible string and try that out for the look your going for. It would probably give the most light and should be easy to mount in there.

Hmm yeah i could try that. Like i said in the first post, I was thinking of constructing a box to put behind the logo. Maybe I could put a hazy piece of plastic in front of it with the light bulb behind that so the light will distribute evenly, not just a direct bulb. The main concern with that would be wiring it to work with my headlights. Would I just be able to splice my headlight wires to add another bulb on or would that mess with the power in some way?

I was thinking with the led strip that you could just run them right along the edge on the back side of the pony and it would give a good effect. I don't know about running a regular bulb, but hooking in leds to your factory lights shouldn't do anything since leds don't have hardly any current draw.

Right right. Those string LED's are pretty cheap, i'll see how that looks and if it doesn't do it for me, i'll see what else I can throw together.

this might work...but you can use ur existing symbol, make an indentation in something like plaster paris, then pour something like glue or a clear adhesive, then pry it out and you have a clear horse. next you could drill holes for LEDS and you got yourself a light up logo
